Our History
The roots of CTG Technical Sales dates back to Charles (Charlie) T. Gamble Sr., who in the 1950s, first started in the electronic component market with RCA Camden. Charlie developed a thirst for knowledge for all things electrical in his involvement with RCA and later with ITE Circuit Breakers in Philadelphia. He eventually created a company to manufacture wire-wound resistors where he developed and patented the first totally encapsulated precision resistor.

Engineer, inventor, and businessman, Charlie Gamble also had one more valuable trait: he was a people person. As the business grew, Charlie brought his two sons into the firm and made sure they knew his business philosophy: know your products, create value, listen to your customers, and most importantly, provide quality service to your customers.

Today's CTG Technical Sales, a manufacturing sales organization incorporated in 1999 by Charles T. Gamble, Jr., is committed to continuing Charlie's business philosophy that he laid down 50 years ago. We service clients from our spacious 5,000 square foot facility located in Moorestown, New Jersey, just minutes from downtown Philadelphia.
